THE JOANNE JEFFERSON is a lesbian and she's damn proud about it. She's not butch by any means, heavens no! She likes to dress nicely and look presentable at all times. She much prefers to wear business suits, and she is in a handful of clubs that somehow all deal with leadership skills. She's a stubbornly proud young woman and prefers to do everything herself just so she can make sure that it is perfect and done right. Sure, she might be a control freak, but at least you can count on her if you need her!
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
